Homework for November 16

Today in class we have started talking about surveys. We have looked at how to ask survey questions, how to describe a survey and how to report survey results. Next class, we will look at how to organize survey results in a form of presentation and how to use visual aids effectively while reporting survey results. To help you prepare for the next class, I'd like you to do the following:

1. pp. 24 - 25: Organization Focus. This exercise helps you learn how to make a good presentation outline.
2. pp. 26-27: Presentation Focus. This part of the unit shows you what information to include in 3 main parts of a presentation - introduction, body and conclusion - and what useful language can be used when reporting survey results.
